Why do manufacturers eagerly reach for this solution? According to information provided by government portals, pure paper absorbs moisture like a sponge and does not protect against odors. An additional barrier coating solves this problem in no time, protecting food or elegant catalogs from water and mechanical damage. We feel like this is a brilliant protective shield, but… unfortunately, it generates significant challenges for ecology.

Why does traditional recycling of laminated paper fail?

Standard raw material recovery is based on a simple process – waste paper is thrown into water, where under the influence of mixing, the cellulose fibers disintegrate into so-called paper pulp.
